Research includes applying synchrotron radiation to explore fundamental questions in heterogeneous catalysis - (i) 2D/3D imaging at the particle and reactor level to relate structure and activity, (ii) in situ/operando studies of technical systems with spatial- and time-resolution, (iii) development of unconventional hard X-ray characterisation tools.
