About Yaoqing Zhang
Yaoqing Zhang is a Senior Editor for Nature Communications handling manuscripts about batteries, supercapacitors, solid state ionics and inorganic chemistry. His research interest is in the study of fundamental electrochemistry, solid state chemistry and materials science addressing critical energy issues facing the society. Yaoqing received his PhD from the University of St Andrews and moved to Nature Communications in June 2016 from an assistant professorship at Tokyo Institute of Technology. Yaoqing is based in the Shanghai office.
