About Kareem Azab
Our Lab conducts a multi-disciplinary translational research with a focus on treatment and imaging of cancer, including hematologic malignancies and solid tumors. We work intensively on understanding the biological mechanisms of cancer progression and metastasis, development of novel drugs, targeted delivery of therapeutic agents (from nano-sized systems up to medical devices), cancer immunotherapy, and on developing patient-derived, tissue engineered pre-clinical models to study cancer.
