I'm a surface scientist/condensed matter physicist at the University of Nottingham. Research interests currently include single atom/molecule imaging, spectroscopy, and manipulation with scanning probes; the machine learning-nanoscience interface; synchrotron-based X-ray and electron spectroscopies; and far-from-equilibrium pattern formation in nanostructured systems. I'm also enthusiastic about public engagement and science communication via both "traditional" and new media.
