About Yangbin Liu

Yangbin Liu received his Ph.D. degree in 2016 from the College of Chemistry, Sichuan University under the supervision of Prof. Xiaoming Feng. He did postdoctoral research at the State University of New York, USA with Prof. Zhang Wang and University of Geneva, Switzerland with Prof. Clément Mazet from 2016–2020. Then he joined Prof. Feng’s group at Shenzhen Bay Laboratory. His research interests focus on the development of asymmetric catalytic methodology to prepare natural bioactive products.

A visible-light-induced Giese radical dearomatization/Ireland-Claisen rearrangement, provides an alternative approach to accomplish the valuable prenylation and reverse-prenylation of electron-deficient indoles in good to excellent yields and diastereoselectivities.
